Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Prompt Expert ("we", "the Service", available at www.iprompt.ccwu.cc) handles information. The Service is operated by Peter Yu (individual operator). Contact: [email protected].
1. Information you provide
- The Service requires no account, no sign-up, and no name or email to use.
- You send text messages describing what you need, and you may optionally upload documents (Word / PDF / TXT / Markdown, up to 10 MB) for the Service to read as context.
- Your language preference is stored in your own browser's
localStorage; it is not an identity and is not used to track you.
2. How your messages and files are processed
- To generate responses, your messages and the content of uploaded files are sent to our third-party AI provider, DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com, operated by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd.), under its own privacy policy and terms.
- Uploaded files are parsed in memory only and are discarded immediately after processing. They are never written to disk, saved to a database, or retained by us.
- Conversation content is kept temporarily in server memory solely to keep a single working session functioning (for roughly 30 minutes of inactivity). It is cleared when the session expires or the service restarts. There is no persistent database storing your conversations or files.
3. Server logs and CDN
The Service runs behind Cloudflare and is hosted on a cloud server. Standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, and request timestamps — may be recorded in server and/or CDN logs for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and operations. These logs follow the providers' own retention policies.
4. Cookies and tracking
At this time the Service sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. The only browser storage is the language-preference entry described above, which is strictly necessary for the page to function as you expect.
Anonymous first-party statistics: we count page views, daily unique visitors, the number of prompts delivered, and currently-online visitors, and may display these aggregate numbers publicly on the homepage. A unique visitor is recognized solely through a same-day SHA-256 hash derived from the IP address and browser information. The raw IP address is never stored, the hash changes every calendar day and cannot be used to track you across days, and no identifier is placed in your browser for statistics. These aggregate figures contain no conversation content and cannot be linked back to an individual.
5. How information is used and shared
- Used to provide the prompt-generation service, maintain security and stability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Processors acting on our behalf: DeepSeek (AI generation), Cloudflare (CDN and security), and the hosting provider. We do not sell personal information.
- Information may be disclosed if required by applicable law or a binding legal request.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of any information that can be linked to you by emailing [email protected]. Because we keep no accounts and no persistent conversation storage, most content is already ephemeral. You can also clear localStorage in your browser at any time to remove the language preference.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Please do not submit personal information through the Service if you are under that age.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in multiple jurisdictions — the origin server is hosted in Hong Kong, and AI processing follows DeepSeek's infrastructure and terms. By using the Service you understand this cross-border processing.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; the "Effective date" above will reflect the latest version. Material changes may also be indicated on the site.
